Stargazing & the Magical Milky Way Boat Cruise

As the night sky lights up we will cruise to Ocean Grange for a fun, interactive and insightful stargazing experience at the Ninety Mile Beach.

Enjoy a boat ride departing from Progress Jetty in Paynesville to Ocean Grange for our unforgettable Stargazing tour which features Australia’s spectacular night sky away from the lights of the town.

Once we reach our destination, we will then explore with a guided nocturnal walk of the bush track from the Ocean Grange jetty to the Ninety Mile Beach. Keep your eyes open for kangaroos, possums & bandicoots!

It’s then time to experience the Southern Sky and its celestial wonders only visible from the Southern hemisphere at this spectacular beach location.

Rug up in warm clothes and your winter jacket. BYO your binoculars, this is a naked-eye astronomy tour (telescopes are not provided).

Before our return boat trip back to Paynesville we will warm up with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Please Note: 

1. This is a small group tour for 16 adults (15 years & above) only 

2. To ensure the best experience, we will monitor the weather conditions which includes rain & cloud cover. If we deem it too wet and/or cloudy we will let you know at 4.30pm on the day. If the tour does not go ahead due to weather conditions you will be given a refund.
